To talk about Ivan without mentioning the sea, would be pretty strange. Born and raised on the island of Murter, he started to enjoy the waves and other sea benefits when he was still young. Soon enough, he found out that windsurfing, diving and wakeboarding are his true passions. Going to nautical school and choosing the sea as his workplace, came naturally to him. Fortunately, even today after twenty years of experience in boating, he still feels the same as the very first day. Although this kind of job sometimes may be stressful and hard, Ivan believes there is always a solution and that’s why he appreciates a positive and efficient crew. In his free time, Ivan enjoys going to the mountains by bike, reading a good book that captures his mind and spending quality time with his family.

Kata is 27 years old and she is from Croatia. She wasn’t born into a family of nautical workers, but she has always been strongly connected to the sea. For example, she holds a master’s degree in nautical engineering. Kata works hard, is a true professional and always maintains a positive attitude. She has experience in hospitality spanning over seven years (on 24 m, 31 m ,38 and 48 m motor/sailing yachts). She can be described as flexible, communicative, friendly and extremely capable of working either in a team environment or as an individual relying on her own initiative. She is an organized person with a great eye for detail, passionate about making guest feel comfortable and welcome. In her free time she likes traveling, cycling, cooking, sea activities, skiing, listening to music, taking photos and so on.

Mladen, 34 years old, is from Trogir, Croatia. He is an energetic, hardworking, reliable person with a great work ethic. He can be described as an innovative person, someone who has the ability to multitask and make the necessary changes needed to improve a working environment and a kitchen team’s performance. Mladen is passionate about his job and always gives it all to satisfy guests. He holds ten years of experience in cooking in well-known hotels and restaurants, and additionally holds five years of experience on luxury motor and sailing yachts (30 m,38 m, 48 m and 51 m). His specialties include international and Mediterranean cuisine. Besides cooking food, he enjoys talking about food as well. While interacting with guests he learns about all their special wishes. Mladen loves to keep up to date with the latest food trends. Also he likes traveling, sea activities, cycling etc.

Ilijana is 32 years old, from Belgrade, Serbia and is a nurse-kindergarten teacher by education. Although she is not originally from the sailing world, she has found it easy to fit in having worked as part of the crew on different boats for 4 years (34m, 56m motor/sailing boats). She has enriched her experience by doing many different jobs available to the crew members on boats and learned the significance of team support in such a small environment. Ilijana has great ability to adapt to multicultural environments, which is an extremely important advantage in this job. Additonally, she loves working with people but is no stranger to taking initiative. She enjoys painting, biking and camping.

Alen was born in Split, Croatia. He is 22 years old. After he finished Maritime engineering school  he started working on many different types of vessels such as sail boats, fishing boats, livestock carrier, oil-chemicals tankers and yachts. He developed excellent water sports and tender skills. In his free time, he likes traveling, sea sports, fishing and drive with a car.
